Christmas Party Series Post 3 - My Party Beauty Essentials!

Hi Guys!

This is part 3 of my Christmas Party series and today is all about my top beauty essentials for the big night!

It is very important when putting your outfit together that you consider your make up as much as the dress itself and after a lot of deliberation and testing, I have picked my beauty winners!

Lips
Topshop- Inhibition, Soap and Glory Great Kisser Lip Balm (Peach)

All this season I have been loving the deep plum lip trend, it is so perfect and dramatic for a big party or event. There are loads of great versions on the market at the moment, but my favourite is this Topshop one Inhibition, it has no red tone to it at all, it is a true purple/plum and stays put nearly all night, (only the odd reapplication needed) and it looks so good against the velvets, sequins and leathers of this winter.
And I need gloss, I am not a fan of total Matte lipstick, I don't like the way it sits on my face, so I always apply a bit of shine. I love Soap and Glory's Great Kisser lip balm, it is not a typical gloss on a stick it is an actual balm, so keeps your lips nice and moisturised but has the most amazing super gloss finish which you don't except, which looks fab over the deep lip.

Face and Eyes
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil- Knight, Benefit Porefessinal Primer

If you are not dancing the night away at your Christmas party, your not having a good time! So primer is a must to keep your face in place all night and not have any make up disasters of slipping foundation! I have talked about Porefessinal before it is my everyday primer and I love the fact that it is not heavy, blends really well and keeps everything where it needs to be all day.
My most recent beauty purchase out of my picks is my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in the colour Knight. It is a gorgeous charcoal colour that is perfect for creating a classic smoky eye. It blends so well and you can really build up the intensity of the colour at the crease, or it is really nice as a solid liner under the lower lash line, which is how I will wear it for my party look.
If you have not tried NYX jumbo pencils before I would recommend them, the colour Milk is the perfect highlight colour for under the eyebrows!

Nails
Essie- Bordeaux

This is my favourite nail colour of the whole season. It is the nicest rich burgundy that has a really high shine finish and makes the nails look really elegant. And like all other Essie polishes it doesn't chip after two coats.
There is no sparkle in it, but I am letting the dress do the sparkling so that's fine!

Perfume
Chanel No 5

For a big event I like a really strong and heavy sent and for me the ultimate version of this is Chanel No 5. It's iconic notes really make me feel glam and ready to party!

Earrings
Topshop

Ok, it's not a beauty item but I am a lover of big earrings. For me they finish every look off and for me the bigger the better. For this party season the jewelry trend to look out for is full on glam and these Topshop lovelies give just the right amount of glitz , while not taking over the look and distracting from the dress, hair or make up.

Well, I hope you like my picks and you are all ready for your Christmas Party's! I would love to hear what make up you will be rocking and why.

I hope you are all having a good week and are well under way with the present buying? I can't believe it is under 2 weeks till Christmas day, it is all very exciting! I have got more Christmas nights out this week and heading to a blogger event for Manchester Fashion week on Saturday which I am really looking forward too, and there will be full post on it very soon. And, I will be posting my ultimate Christmas wish list this week too so be sure to stay tuned for that.

Happy Wednesday!
