Do you remember back in January I mentioned that come Spring we would be wearing head to toe pink? Well I am not quite head to to in this post, but I am certainly embracing one of the seasons hottest colours!
Now, as a general rule I am not a pink girly girl, especially not when it comes to fashion and styling. But, I have been sucked into this pop of spring colour, I think I am just so done with the greys and blacks of winter!
Pink was all over the catwalks for SS17 Chanel, Valentino, Michael Kors and TopShop Boutique all showing different shades and styles, and it now all over the high street.
It might seem like a scary thing to do if you are a faithful black/neutral dresser, but it is really simple and really impactful. And it is hard to be in a bad mood when you are wearing such a bright colour, it just makes you feel good, and isant that that point of fashion?!
If you don' want to go for pink on pink like I have here you can just introduce one piece in a really vibrant pink shade, or even pale.
However if you are going for it try clashing your tones slightly, so it does not look to matchy, but the most important thing is to have fun with it! (without trying to look like you are an extra from the Pink Ladies)
I styled up an old Zara dress here with a longline blazer over jeans, I am a big fan of the dress over trousers style there is something really chic about it to me, are you a fan?
And to finish of the look, my trusty LK Bennet Saffiano shouder bag, as the pink edging of the Boyarde stickers compliments the pink perfectly!
So, are you going to embrace the pink trend?
